Navigating around the Google Analytics Dashboard

When you first see the Google Analytics Dashboard you may feel overwhelmed.

There is a lot of information here! But taken one step at a time it's a rewarding and interesting exploration.

Lets start with the basics. Here's the Main Menu that you'll be using: Google Analytics Dashboard

A brief definition of the wording, per Google:

Sessions: The total number of interactive visits to your website. Returning visits are included. (during the specified date range)

Users: Unique users that have had at least one visit or session. New and returning users are included. (during the specified date range)

Pageviews: The total number of pages viewed. Repeated views of the same page are included. (during the specified date range)

Pages/Session: The average number of pages viewed during a visit or session. Repeated views of the same page are included.
