Photo galleries are an effective way to showcase what you do.
Whether taken professionally or with your mobile phone, photos are powerful and add a lot of depth to your website’s content. Photos are also an important way to optimize your website. Giving your photos “Alt Titles” when uploading them to your website, allows the search engines and people with screen reading devices to know what the photo is about. Meaning your photo could show up in Google image searches!
Getting the functionality right
Photo galleries that load slowly, provide small images and don’t work correctly on mobile devices don’t help. We encourage our clients to upload full screen versions of their photos so users can enlarge them easily.
